FireSmart - Protecting Your Remote Property
In order to assist land owners in remote areas of Northern Ontario learn how they can best protect their properties from burning wildfires, the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) has partnered with NOTO to communicate the FireSmart approach. The fundamental approach of FireSmart involves reducing fuel sources for the fire around remote properties, and taking other steps to make buildings less vulnerable if a fire approaches.
